My First Born | Lake Nona Child Photographer

Today was Hunter’s first day of First Grade.  He will soon have a birthday and turn 7 years old.  He will soon lose a top front tooth and have a brand new smile (it’s realllllly wiggly!).  Lots of changes.  Lots of growing up going on.  I don’t get emotional in the moment.  I don’t cry as he walks off to class.  It’s later when I look at pictures and think about how big he’s getting when it hits me.  Daddy is already talking about how hard it will be to drop him off at college (we’re assuming he’ll be a Seminole!) and drive home from Tallahassee.  I can’t think that far ahead yet!  For now, he’s still my little guy.  My super handsome, extremely loving, smart, athletic, sometimes wild and crazy, sweet boy.  I hope it’s a great first grade year for him.

Maya {7 months} | New Smyrna Beach Baby Photographer

Way too many favorites when it comes to my favorite great niece.  She’s 7 months and an accomplished sitter.  The perfect age for a beach session.  We had quite the entourage with my kids in tow ‘helping’.  And we actually got a picture of the 3 of them!  Maya is a girl of many faces… such personality!  She’s just so sweet and a really good baby.  She will be a year old before we know it!

Katelyn | Titusville Florida Newborn Baby Photographer

This sweet family came recommended to me by a fellow photographer who lives up north and is friends with this family.  I don’t know the photographer very well personally, but I know she does amazing work.  We are both part of a Facebook group for photographers.  It’s a huge compliment to be recommended by a fellow photographer so thanks Kelly :).  Katelyn was a dream baby.  She barely made a peep.  I was so excited to learn she was over 8 pounds.  I feel like the last few have been super tiny.  I just love the rolls and the cheeks!  Her daddy is a Wildland Firefighter with US Fish and Wildlife  so we had to incorporate some of his gear into the session.  I have a lot of favorites so enjoy!

Happy First Birthday! | Orlando Baby Cake Smash Birthday Photographer

Mama had big plans for this session.  We were so prepared with the props, the cake, and the post cake bath in the park.  All we needed was a happy little guy. Well, he wasn’t unhappy, but he made his parents work really hard for the smiles we did get.  They pulled out all the stops and he was just so serious!  And then he didn’t want anything to do with the cake.  He did enjoy the bath though.  I think, in the end, we got the pictures she was hoping for.  I certainly think they’re adorable!
