Nolan | Orlando Florida Newborn and Adoption Photographer

This is my first newborn adoption session and it was so special.  They came to me through Red Thread Sessions which is a website that helps adoptive parents find photographers in their area.  Baby was born nearby and the adoptive parents traveled across the country to get him.  They were stuck in Florida for a while so in order to get those sleepy, posed newborn photos it was best that they have the pictures taken in Florida instead of waiting until they could go back home.  Good job mom for thinking that one through!  It definitely paid off.  He as so, so sweet and a total angel during his session.  Many blessings to the  new family of 3!

What an adorable little guy, love these!

Bradyn | Lake Nona High School Senior Photographer

Bradyn was such a good sport during his Senior session.  He did whatever I asked him to and smiled when needed.  Can’t ask for much more from a guy who is doing this so that his mom can have some pictures of her boy before he goes off to college 🙂 .  His momma was happy with the pictures and that’s all that matters!

If you are a 2015 graduating Senior now is the time to start thinking about who will take your Senior photos.  Please inquire with me if you are in and around the Orlando, Florida area.  I have two packages for Seniors to fit your wants and needs.  I am taking Senior Reps as well.  If you agree to be a Senior Rep you can earn your session for FREE!  Ask me how!

My Kiddos | Orlando Florida Child and Children Photographer

As a photographer it’s easy to be guilty of taking less pictures of your kids because you’re too busy taking pictures of everyone else and just want a break.  I know that I have to make a conscious decision to drag my camera around.  I’m getting better about making the effort.  I rented an awesome lens for a maternity shoot and had a day that I could use it on the kids so at the last minute I got them ready and we went out for a while.  My kids are pretty good about taking pictures, but it’s true that it’s so much harder taking pictures of your own kids.  I know that I am no where near as easy going with my kids as I am with someone else’s.  Hunter {7} spends half the shoot trying to photo bomb my pictures!  And I’ll get Peyton {4} into the perfect pose and she drops to the ground.  But in the end, it’s worth it.  I have these beautiful memories forever.

What beautiful children. I have three of my own and find as they get older I take less and less pictures of them. I need to change it! You have a great collection here and I would be making a collage for your walls 😉

What cute kids! I can’t believe how adorable they are together!

Awaiting Jameson | Kissimmee FL Maternity Photographer

Another AMAZING maternity session!  These are all of a sudden in my top 3 subjects to photograph.  Maternity sessions used to scare me a couple years ago, but I just love them now.  Kristin and Chad are really good friends of my husband and I.  They don’t live close by, but they decided to squeeze in a ‘babymoon’ in Orlando.  I am so glad they did because it gave me the opportunity to take their maternity pictures. We knew Chad first and are so glad he picked Kristin to spend forever with.  We are so, so excited that they will soon be parents.  Jameson is one lucky little boy!

Kristin has the cutest baby bump at 33 weeks (I KNOW, it’s ridiculous how amazing she looks!).  I had a really hard time narrowing down what to share so I’m just sharing A LOT!  It was the weekend of the BCS National Championship game and we all graduated from FSU so we had to do some photos with some FSU props.  {WAY TO GO NOLES!!}  I make a little cameo toward the end of the post :).   And that last picture, big favorite!

Gwendolyn | Altamonte Springs Newborn Photographer

Oh Gwennie, you are so precious!  Gwen’s parents gave me the reins and let me be creative.  I love that!  We did incorporate mom being an attorney with the law book set up.  The snow bunny is my personal favorite out of the bunch!  I’m looking forward to seeing Gwen as she grows over the next year.

I just want to make a little note to anyone reading this and thinking about booking a newborn session.  I book newborn sessions in advance of your due date.  Sometimes many months in advance.  It’s much easier to get the paperwork and deposit taken care of before baby arrives.  Your due date then goes on my calendar and the session date is chosen after baby arrives.  Newborn photos are taken within first 12 days of the baby’s life.  There are exceptions, but that is what I aim for.  I only take a certain number of newborns per month so that also plays a part.  I would hate to have to say no!
