This little guy gave me a run for my money. He was just a day shy of turning two, had the sniffles, and wasn’t about to stop moving 🙂 It’s a good thing I’m fast and so is my camera. Patience paid off and the playground helped slow him down and bring out some smiles. Mom and Dad were awesome about just going with whatever he wanted and embracing the candid moments. It was great meeting you all!
This mama-to-be looks amazing at 35 weeks pregnant! Our session took a little detour when I pulled in to the planned location to find a park full of people camped out for some kind of event in the park. Luckily, there was a college campus across the street so we headed there. I hadn’t shot there before so we just walked and stopped when we liked an area. It ended up working out beautifully! The last picture in this post has the baby’s name written on the chalkboard, but I blacked it out because it’s not really public knowledge yet. I just thought it was so cute that I had to share the concept 🙂 I’m looking forward to meeting this baby girl at the beginning of the year!
LOVE THE UMBRELLA PIC!!!!
Great work, Dena! And yes, she looks amazing!
Mom confessed that they are a family that has their holiday pictures taken in a mall photography studio every year. They opted to try something different this year and it was my goal to convert them for good. Their request was trees! They wanted lots of trees in their photos. They may have gotten a little more than they bargained for with a near miss on an ant attack and practically being in the woods. After seeing the end result it was all worth it. I am happy to report that mom says she is done with studio photography. Mission accomplished 🙂 Enjoy these photos Z family. I hope to see you again next year 🙂
This adorable family came all the way from Wisconsin! They were on vacation visiting The Mouse and took time out for some family pictures first thing one morning before they were off to the parks. They requested the Florida mossy trees and I knew just the park to find them. Mom told me that the boys like jokes and I am soooooo not a joke teller. I did a little googling and managed to remember a hand full at most. The favorite was: What color is a burp?……. BURPLE! So, the rest of the photo shoot we just yelled BURPLE for a good smile 🙂 Thanks S family! I had a great time with you all!
Dena, I love these pictures. Where did you take them at?
