Hi, my name is Dena Powell and I’m the face behind the camera. I am a combination of studio light (newborns and sitters) and outdoor, natural light photographer specializing in newborns, children, and families. I am located in Lake Nona and have been serving Orlando, Florida and its surrounding areas since 2011. I’m a Florida native, attended Florida State University (Go Seminoles!), and have been in the Lake Nona area since 2001. I’m married with two beautiful children - a boy and a girl. When I'm not taking pictures you can usually find me on a soccer field, doing Crossfit, or at the beach.

I’ve always had a love of pictures. Growing up my camera was always present. A serious interest sparked when I had children and that eventually led to establishing Everyday Moments Photography in 2011. I am one who loves the perfect family portrait where everyone is looking and smiling, but I also love the candid, everyday moments you catch when you just let life happen. Baby Bump | Winter Park Florida Maternity Photographer

This mama-to-be looks amazing at 35 weeks pregnant! Our session took a little detour when I pulled in to the planned location to find a park full of people camped out for some kind of event in the park. Luckily, there was a college campus across the street so we headed there. I hadn’t shot there before so we just walked and stopped when we liked an area. It ended up working out beautifully! The last picture in this post has the baby’s name written on the chalkboard, but I blacked it out because it’s not really public knowledge yet. I just thought it was so cute that I had to share the concept 🙂 I’m looking forward to meeting this baby girl at the beginning of the year!
