Hi, my name is Dena Powell and I’m the face behind the camera. I am a combination of studio light (newborns) and outdoor, natural light photographer specializing in newborns and families. I serve Orlando, Florida and its surrounding areas. I’m a Florida native, attended Florida State University (Go Seminoles!), and have been in the Lake Nona area since 2001. I’m married with two beautiful children - a boy and a girl. When I'm not taking pictures you can usually find me on a soccer field, doing Crossfit, or at the beach.
I’ve always had a love of pictures. Growing up my camera was always present. A serious interest sparked when I had children and that eventually led to establishing Everyday Moments Photography in 2011. I am one who loves the perfect family portrait where everyone is looking and smiling, but I also love the candid, everyday moments you catch when you just let life happen. Thank you so much for taking these photos at such short notice. With the light rain and tired kids, it was amazing you got some great shots!! Wish we could have had more time.
