Kennedy was the squishiest, sleepiest little chunk. I just loved posing her.

Two years ago I flew up to NY to photograph my friend’s firstborn. I recently made the trip again to photograph the newest addition, a sweet baby boy named Harrison. She’s a newborn photographer as well, but who wants to do all that work just after giving birth? Plus it’s a good excuse for some girl time. Harrison is probably the chillest baby I’ve ever been around. I ended up with a lot of pictures of him as a result. He has the cutest natural pouty lip and is just so, so sweet. He let me work on my wrapping skills, perfect the potato sack pose, and we even got a snow picture!

Meet Iris. She is 5 years old. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 2 and a half. Her life depends on those two objects attached to her arms. One monitors her blood sugar level and the other gives her insulin. Technology is amazing, but a cure would be so much better.
Iris’ mom put together this short video with these pictures to help raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. You can watch it here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98JkQ90ZFVI&feature=youtu.be
They are raising money and doing the JDRF Walk in March. If you feel led to donate there is a link below the video.
