Hi, my name is Dena Powell and I’m the face behind the camera. I am a combination of studio light (newborns) and outdoor, natural light photographer specializing in newborns and families. I serve Orlando, Florida and its surrounding areas. I’m a Florida native, attended Florida State University (Go Seminoles!), and have been in the Lake Nona area since 2001. I’m married with two beautiful children - a boy and a girl. When I'm not taking pictures you can usually find me on a soccer field, doing Crossfit, or at the beach.

I’ve always had a love of pictures. Growing up my camera was always present. A serious interest sparked when I had children and that eventually led to establishing Everyday Moments Photography in 2011. I am one who loves the perfect family portrait where everyone is looking and smiling, but I also love the candid, everyday moments you catch when you just let life happen. All the Way From Wisconsin! | Orlando Family and Children Photographer

This adorable family came all the way from Wisconsin! They were on vacation visiting The Mouse and took time out for some family pictures first thing one morning before they were off to the parks. They requested the Florida mossy trees and I knew just the park to find them. Mom told me that the boys like jokes and I am soooooo not a joke teller. I did a little googling and managed to remember a hand full at most. The favorite was: What color is a burp?……. BURPLE! So, the rest of the photo shoot we just yelled BURPLE for a good smile 🙂 Thanks S family! I had a great time with you all!
