Hi, my name is Dena Powell and I’m the face behind the camera. I am a combination of studio light (newborns) and outdoor, natural light photographer specializing in newborns and families. I serve Orlando, Florida and its surrounding areas. I’m a Florida native, attended Florida State University (Go Seminoles!), and have been in the Lake Nona area since 2001. I’m married with two beautiful children - a boy and a girl. When I'm not taking pictures you can usually find me on a soccer field, doing Crossfit, or at the beach.

I’ve always had a love of pictures. Growing up my camera was always present. A serious interest sparked when I had children and that eventually led to establishing Everyday Moments Photography in 2011. I am one who loves the perfect family portrait where everyone is looking and smiling, but I also love the candid, everyday moments you catch when you just let life happen. Emma | Jacksonville FL Newborn Photographer

This baby girl belongs to very good friends of mine. I traveled from Orlando to Jacksonville for her first official photo shoot. She was a bit of a diva and not wanting to sleep, but I was patient and I think it paid off. She was so worn out after her shoot that she slept for 5 hours! Little stinker! We did a part 2 with her older sister and brother the following day and those images are some of my favorite to date.
