We are the Kutcher family and are so excited to have grown our family through adoption! We have been married 8 and a half years, but adoption story began long ago when Michelle was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma, at the age of 22 months old. \u00a0She was a patient at St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital and received life-saving radiation and chemotherapy as a very small child. \u00a0Thankfully, she has been cancer free for almost 30 years and has had no further concerns or major complications. \u00a0The amount of radiation she received as a small child consequently caused her infertility. After discussion and prayerful consideration we strongly felt led to have a growing family through adoption. \u00a0Ever since Michelle can remember she has wanted to adopt. \u00a0She can even remember being in middle school when her doctors told her she would not be able to conceive. We are so thankful that God brought us together and solidified that we will be a great team to our future children.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We welcomed our daughter, Evelyn Marie, into our arms on\u00a0January 18! She was born in Phoenix, Arizona and it was nothing short of miraculous! We have enjoyed her so much and still cannot believe she is ours! God has surely been in every detail of her story and we are praising Him for choosing us to be her parents. Evelyn\u2019s birthparents are incredible and we love them more than we thought was even possible. We have been home 7 weeks and are just still dreaming and full of joy! Thank you to the hundreds of you who covered us in prayer and have been encouraging us throughout this hard and wonderful journey of adoption.
